{"id":1708,"date":"2021-02-18T09:14:37","date_gmt":"2021-02-18T08:14:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vericomguinee.com\/?p=1708"},"modified":"2021-02-18T09:14:37","modified_gmt":"2021-02-18T08:14:37","slug":"france-google-sanctionne-pour-son-classement-trompeur-des-hotels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vericomguinee.com\/index.php\/france-google-sanctionne-pour-son-classement-trompeur-des-hotels\/","title":{"rendered":"France: Google sanctionn\u00e9 pour son \u00abclassement trompeur\u00bb des h\u00f4tels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>L\u2019entreprise am\u00e9ricaine Google affichait sa propre classification h\u00f4teli\u00e8re \u00e0 base d\u2019\u00e9toiles laissant planer le doute aupr\u00e8s des internautes qu\u2019il s\u2019agissait de celle \u00e9tablie officiellement par l\u2019organisation Atout France.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La firme a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9pingl\u00e9e par la Direction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la concurrence, de la consommation et de la r\u00e9pression des fraudes (DGCCRF) pour avoir \u00e9tabli un classement des h\u00f4tels trompeur \u00e0 base d\u2019\u00e9toiles. \u00c0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un algorithme maison, la plateforme web hi\u00e9rarchisait les \u00e9tablissements h\u00f4teliers en fonction de ses propres crit\u00e8res d\u2019appr\u00e9ciations et le retour des commentaires des internautes. Or, ce type de classement qui est parfaitement r\u00e8glement\u00e9\u00a0en France est r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par l\u2019Agence de d\u00e9veloppement touristique Atout France, en charge de renforcer le positionnement de la destination fran\u00e7aise \u00e0 l\u2019international.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019attribution de ces \u00e9toiles correspond \u00e0 plus de 250 points \u00e0 respecter, a fait valoir l\u2019agence. Ce classement repose, entre autres, sur une \u00e9valuation des \u00e9quipements, de la qualit\u00e9 des prestations, le respect de l\u2019environnement ou encore la prise en charge du handicap dans les \u00e9tablissements qui accueillent des touristes. Des crit\u00e8res que la firme am\u00e9ricaine s\u2019est bien gard\u00e9e de prendre en compte pour attribuer ses \u00e9toiles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les syndicats remont\u00e9s contre Google<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En 2019 et 2020, les syndicats professionnels de l\u2019h\u00f4tellerie avaient d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 \u00ab la nature et la loyaut\u00e9 des informations d\u00e9livr\u00e9es par la plateforme Google \u00bb\u00a0et ils avaient d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de porter l\u2019affaire en justice pour que la firme am\u00e9ricaine cesse d\u2019influencer les choix des consommateurs selon ses propres crit\u00e8res. Finalement, le parquet de Paris a obtenu que Google accepte de s\u2019acquitter d\u2019une amende transactionnelle d\u20191,1 million d&rsquo;euros en se basant sur les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de l\u2019enqu\u00eate men\u00e9e par la DGCCRF, pr\u00e9cise Romain Roussel, son chef de cabinet.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons contr\u00f4l\u00e9 plus de 7\u00a0500 \u00e9tablissements touristiques avec notre service national des enqu\u00eates, dit-il. Et nous avons constat\u00e9 que dans environ 30% des cas, il y avait une discordance d\u00e9favorable entre le classement officiel et celui affich\u00e9 par Google. Nous avons r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 obtenir de l\u2019entreprise qu\u2019elle cesse cette pratique de notation d\u00e8s le mois de septembre 2019 et ensuite les discussions se sont poursuivies sous l\u2019\u00e9gide du procureur de la R\u00e9publique de Paris pour finalement aboutir au r\u00e8glement de cette amende transactionnelle de 1,1 million\u00a0d\u2019euros, d\u00e9but f\u00e9vrier 2021. Une amende transactionnelle, c\u2019est lorsqu\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 s\u2019acquitte \u00a0d\u2019un montant en \u00e9change d\u2019une extinction des poursuites p\u00e9nales pour les faits qui lui sont reproch\u00e9s. N\u00e9anmoins, il convient de pr\u00e9ciser, \u00e0 propos du classement des h\u00e9bergements touristiques sur une plateforme num\u00e9rique, que c\u2019\u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re affaire de ce type en France que nous avions \u00e0 traiter\u00a0\u00bb, indique encore Romain Roussel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Une transaction pour \u00e9viter le proc\u00e8s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019amende inflig\u00e9e \u00e0 Google para\u00eet bien modeste en comparaison de ses ressources financi\u00e8res. Mais cette transaction p\u00e9nale a sembl\u00e9 pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable aux yeux du g\u00e9ant de l\u2019internet estimant, sans doute, qu\u2019un long et co\u00fbteux proc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019issue incertaine lui serait au bout du compte d\u00e9favorable. Google a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de modifier son syst\u00e8me de notation des \u00e9tablissements d\u2019h\u00e9bergement touristiques.
