Au Cameroun, le stade d’Olemb\u00e9 devant abriter les matches d’ouverture et de cl\u00f4ture de la prochaine coupe d’Afrique des nations est encore en chantier. La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de r\u00e9ception de ce stade de 60.000 places pr\u00e9vue vendredi 3 d\u00e9cembre, a \u00e9t\u00e9 report\u00e9e \u00e0 une date ult\u00e9rieure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

C’est le sixi\u00e8me report d\u2019une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie annonc\u00e9e pour la r\u00e9ception du complexe sportif d\u2019Olemb\u00e9 depuis que les constructions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 entam\u00e9es il y a 12 ans.\u00a0 En ce d\u00e9but de mois de d\u00e9cembre, sur l\u2019une des fa\u00e7ades ext\u00e9rieures du stade d\u2019Olemb\u00e9, les ouvriers et les engins sont \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre sous le regard des curieux tenus \u00e0 distance.<\/p>\n

Ces derniers venus s\u2019enqu\u00e9rir de l\u2019\u00e9volution des travaux repartent \u00a0d\u00e9\u00e7us\u00a0 du fait que l\u2019\u00e9difice n\u2019a pas \u00a0encore \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9, \u00e0 un mois du d\u00e9but de la CAN, \u00ab\u00a0pr\u00e9sentement ce que j\u2019observe c\u2019est que les travaux avancent \u00e0 pas de tortue\u00a0\u00bb, selon\u00a0Jean Cr\u00e9pin, un jeune amateur du football.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0D\u2019apr\u00e8s\u00a0ce que je vois l\u00e0, le stade a encore un mois au moins pour \u00eatre pr\u00eat, le pays est comme \u00e7a mais on va seulement suivre ce rythme, \u00e7a fait mal mais on n\u2019a pas le choix\u00a0\u00bb, se d\u00e9sole Marc Emile Yamba, qui a parcouru plus de dix kilom\u00e8tres pour jauger l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019avancement des travaux.<\/p>\n

Jean-Roger, un riverain du stade s\u2019est \u00e9galement rendu sur le site apr\u00e8s avoir suivi, \u00ab\u00a0beaucoup de brouhaha par rapport \u00e0 ce stade, \u00a0je constate qu\u2019on est toujours en chantier\u00a0\u00bb, remarque-t-il.<\/em><\/p>\n

A cause des retards observ\u00e9s sur le site d\u2019Olemb\u00e9, la conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration africaine de football a menac\u00e9 le mois dernier de faire jouer le match d\u2019ouverture de la CAN ailleurs.<\/p>\n

Le gouvernement a alors annonc\u00e9 que le stade allait \u00eatre r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9 le 3 d\u00e9cembre. A cette date, \u00e0 la surprise g\u00e9n\u00e9rale un communiqu\u00e9 du ministre des sports a fait savoir que la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de prise de possession du stade d\u2019Olemb\u00e9 est renvoy\u00e9e \u00e0 une date ult\u00e9rieure.<\/p>\n

Les Camerounais perplexes<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes au Cameroun, qui ignore le Cameroun, \u00a0ici les travaux de 2 semaines peuvent prendre pratiquement 2 \u00e0 4 ans, les travaux d\u2019un mois peuvent prendre parfois 10 ans\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, a r\u00e9agi Guy merlin, un jeune op\u00e9rateur \u00e9conomique \u00e0 la suite du communiqu\u00e9 du ministre.<\/p>\n

Mais d\u2019autres camerounais \u00e0 l\u2019instar de Jean Cr\u00e9pin se montrent plus incisifs, \u00ab\u00a0la seule chose que nous rappelons \u00e0 notre gouvernement c\u2019est qu\u2019il nous remette notre stade pour la fiert\u00e9 de l\u2019homme camerounais puisque l\u2019argent qui est d\u00e9pens\u00e9 \u00e0 hauteur de milliards ce sont nos enfants qui le rembourseront\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

D’apr\u00e8s le gouvernement, certaines contraintes \u00a0sont \u00e0 l\u2019origine du report de la date de prise de possession du stade d\u2019Olemb\u00e9.\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Il ne s\u2019agit pas d\u2019un rendez-vous manqu\u00e9, il s\u2019agit d\u2019une d\u00e9marche de coh\u00e9rence et de pertinence sur le plan factuel et juridique\u00a0\u00bb, se d\u00e9fend Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, ministre des sports et de l\u2019\u00e9ducation physique.<\/p>\n

Le Cameroun sera pr\u00eat le jour-J<\/strong><\/p>\n

Narcisse Mouelle Kombi ajoute, \u00ab\u00a0nous avons cru le 30 novembre dernier, en lan\u00e7ant \u00a0officiellement la recette technique des infrastructures du stade d\u2019Olemb\u00e9, qu\u2019un d\u00e9lai de TROIS jours suffisait, mais des al\u00e9as et quelques facteurs d\u2019incertitudes ont permis de se rendre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9vidence que d\u2019un, \u00a0le chronogramme initial ne pouvait pas tenir et que d\u2019autre part, l\u2019\u00e9quipe des experts charg\u00e9e de la recette technique\u00a0sollicitait un peu plus de temps autrement dit le d\u00e9lai de 72 h \u00e9tait relativement court au regard de l\u2019immensit\u00e9 du travail\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Le ministre des sports et de l\u2019\u00e9ducation physique et pr\u00e9sident du comit\u00e9 local d\u2019organisation de la Can Total Energies 2021 se dit cependant serein, \u00ab\u00a0les travaux ont \u00e9volu\u00e9 au stade d\u2019Olemb\u00e9,\u00a0les engagements \u00a0vis-\u00e0-vis de la CAF sont tenus ce processus ne remets nullement en cause l\u2019urgence de la tenue et de l\u2019organisation de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d\u2019ouverture \u00e0 Olemb\u00e9\u00a0le 9 janvier prochain\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Ce lundi, les d\u00e9put\u00e9s de l\u2019opposition vont d\u00e9poser \u00e0 l\u2019assembl\u00e9e nationale, une proposition de r\u00e9solution aux fins d\u2019une constitution\u00a0d’une commission d\u2019enqu\u00eate parlementaire sur la construction\u00a0du\u00a0stade d\u2019Olemb\u00e9 dont le co\u00fbt est\u00a0estim\u00e9\u00a0 \u00e0\u00a0plus de 200 milliards de francs CFA.<\/p>\n
